Because CMFFAs was unable to host their 2011 fanfic awards and told me that they would not accept help (and declined to do other alternatives like postponing them), we decided to create our own awards.

So we present to you - Criminal Minds Favorite Fics of 2011!

Our rules are going to be similar to CMFFA (don't fix what ain't broke!), but please read ( Read more... )

Thank you guys so much for doing this!

One tiny clarification. When you say that if we forget a fic, we can't include it late, do you mean that we can make corrections after we submit as long as it's before the deadline, or do you mean that we can't make any corrections after we submit our ballot, even if it's before March 20? (I'm trying to decide how anal I need to be in proofreading.)

You're welcome!

To answer your question, once you email your ballot, you cannot make corrections or additions. I know it can kind of be stressful for you guys (it was for me when I was trying to fill out a ballot for CMFFA), but it cuts down on confusion on our end.

I suspected my interpretation might be wishful thinking on my part, since I only ever seem to remember what I wanted to include after I hit reply.

I think it might actually be less stressful this way. Once the ballot is submitted, that's it. No more double checking or triple checking or sending in corrections and then correcting the corrections!

OMG, yes, you are correct; I did mean that the fic needs to have just been updated in 2011. I'll change the wording now. Thank you for catching that!
