So for the first time in a long time, Alli came over and we did the whole Friday night cooking experiment. We made barbecue chicken quesadillas, which unfortunately were a bit of a disaster. I won't be getting the job that I applied for. However, through correspondence with the people who are in charge, I have confirmed my suspicion that the Peter Principle is the predominant force at work at ITaP.

Okay, say you have a sandwich, and you cut it in half. Do you then have two sandwiches? I think that you do. It's sort of like a hole. Fill it up halfway and you still have a hole, not half a hole, but a whole hole. Likewise, by definition, half a sandwich is really just a smaller sandwich.
