The haul!

So I got admitted to LS Ayres early enough to get a scratch-off card for $10. The distribution of cards was 75% for $10, 20% for $15, and 5% for $25, so I wasn't completely lucky, but whatever. Inside the sale prices were pretty good, and I bought myself a lot of new clothes. Of course, more than zero is "a lot" to me considering how often I go ( Read more... )

Should I get Dazey declawed before I move? Afraid that he will tear up furniture that isn't mine at the new place, but more afraid to basically rip his fingers off. Thoughts?

I wouldn't... Many people view it as inhumane and many vets refuse to do it. Plus, it can't be very cheap, even if there aren't any complications.

Of course you can try training Dazey to stay away from the furniture with a water pistol. But check this thing out, I just found it while browsing around:

Basically they are soft nail caps that last 4-6 months and look like your cat wears nail polish. I added some to my amazon.com wish list!

seconded. train your cats, don't declaw. mine never scratch furniture, probably because I give them lots of other things that they like scratching more.

Wow, gas is only $2.089? Lowest I've seen around Denver recently is $2.219, more commonly $2.259-$2.299. That's for 85 octane, about 7-10 cents more for 87 octane.
