You're handling Perceptor's though processes, with all the tangled memories so beautifully!

And I'm so glad of the way you're handling Red, and how he went to Prime, and made Prime really think about what he was feeling and doing.

Brava!!!

Thank you for the compliments. I'm pleased the tangled memories sequences have worked.

And thanks for the one on Red. He's so easy to pick on and/or torment. But he's the Ark's Security Director after all, he's got to have some talent/skill that earned him that right. I know Red's got hidden depths that just need to be shown a bit more.

Thank you for reading and for the comments. It is all appreciated.

OMG, can I luff on you for treating Red Alert like the competent mech he really is? OK, he's got a glitch, but he must be able and good to be the director of security, and so many people treat him as a joke. So awesome.

I really like how this isn't an easy story to read, you have to concentrate and think about the story. The weaving in and out of memories is superb and fascinating. I love reading this story, thank you for continuing it.

It seems I have pleased several people besides little ol' me by showing Red Alert to be a competent mech. I fully agree he's got to be good to hold the post he does. Yes, he is easy to pick on, but ultimately I think he would be/is certainly competent enough and very aware of his situation (most of the time ( ... )

I would most sincerely hope you don't get a heat wave, since that would just give you mud! Not very Christmasy at all. It's cold here in Denver, darn it, we've not gotten above 40 degrees for a week now, and today was just flat out bitter. I think we got up to 24 degrees, w00t!

What little snow we have is certainly not melting. Yes, I know it's much colder in Gunnison and I should quite whining. Other than baking cookies, we're ready for Christmas at our house, and I'm only missing a card, but I refused to brave the crowds out there this weekend - people are teh crazy! I'll pick up the card tomorrow.

Do you do Christmas? And...do you ski, given that you know the snow conditions? I cross country - downhill scares me.

Yup we do Christmas. Don't ski, but I do snowboard. Though my 7 year old skis better than I board. He's been at if for four years, this will be his 5th season. I've been at it longer, but he is certainly better. Good thing his Dad skis. I can send the two of them off and do my own thing.

Have a Good, safe Christmas.

OOOH O_O I liked this chappy.

Although the frequent mis-spelling of "and" for "an" makes me twitch.

Hmmm. Yup, makes me twitch as well.

What we have here is a perfect example of why one should not rush a posting.

Thanks :)

so with that OC questionaire meme you posted today, i had to come back and re-read this gem of a fic. i loved it the first time i read through (even if i didn't say so; we were largely strangers then) and i loved it a little more this time. your characterizations are wonderfully rich and deep and everyone is so very real.

i was a little sad, though, to finish this chapter and realize that nothing else has been done with it in quite some time--i always looked forward to the updates. i do hope it's not abandoned.

Ummm. *huge sigh* No it is not abandoned. At least that was never the intent and still is not the intent. I know of at least three things I want to explain and really still need to be explained. I did hit a major block with making the next chapter come together. Then, a month ago I thought I was making progress. The key word in that sentence being thought. I am well aware that I have not updated the thing in 9 or 10 months. That time span is easily as frustrating to me as it has to be to readers of the story. I keep poking at the chapter though. So here's hoping...

*huge hug* i have one of those stories too. i totally understand what you're going through. i'm more than willing to wait patiently; sometimes the muses just need to find the right inspirations before you can get any real work done.
