OMG, can I luff on you for treating Red Alert like the competent mech he really is? OK, he's got a glitch, but he must be able and good to be the director of security, and so many people treat him as a joke. So awesome.

I really like how this isn't an easy story to read, you have to concentrate and think about the story. The weaving in and out of memories is superb and fascinating. I love reading this story, thank you for continuing it.

It seems I have pleased several people besides little ol' me by showing Red Alert to be a competent mech. I fully agree he's got to be good to hold the post he does. Yes, he is easy to pick on, but ultimately I think he would be/is certainly competent enough and very aware of his situation (most of the time ( ... )

I would most sincerely hope you don't get a heat wave, since that would just give you mud! Not very Christmasy at all. It's cold here in Denver, darn it, we've not gotten above 40 degrees for a week now, and today was just flat out bitter. I think we got up to 24 degrees, w00t!

What little snow we have is certainly not melting. Yes, I know it's much colder in Gunnison and I should quite whining. Other than baking cookies, we're ready for Christmas at our house, and I'm only missing a card, but I refused to brave the crowds out there this weekend - people are teh crazy! I'll pick up the card tomorrow.

Do you do Christmas? And...do you ski, given that you know the snow conditions? I cross country - downhill scares me.

Yup we do Christmas. Don't ski, but I do snowboard. Though my 7 year old skis better than I board. He's been at if for four years, this will be his 5th season. I've been at it longer, but he is certainly better. Good thing his Dad skis. I can send the two of them off and do my own thing.

Have a Good, safe Christmas.
