And this is wonderful development, if a bit circular here and there. I think Hervey fighting with Luca kinda went somewhere under my radar because I don't read every single thread going on in the RPG. :o But this is good!

^^; Cecile's thoughts tend to be somewhat circular, I've noticed. She'll be speaking with someone about one thing, and then the conversation will shift...and later in the conversation she'll start talking about whatever it was that was spoken earlier. >>; Although, that might be a personal flaw on my own part, but eh.
Their skirmish took place in one particular thread, but both of them mentioned a desire to defeat the other a few times in a couple of other comments. It's not nearly as major as the other plot points she addressed, but given who she interacts with and how, it seemed like something she would be troubled by.
And I am glad these serve more of a purpose than just a way for me to entertain myself. :D
If Hugo knew about these thoughts, he'd probably give Cecile another hug. He may not say it to her or Thomas, but they really mean a lot to him.
I love Cecile and how she still maintains her optimism, even if it is a bit more subdued than normal. And the brambly prickle bush she keeps talking about - that seems a lot like her.
And that makes me want to give Hugo a hug~ I have a feeling they ought to have a deep-and-meaningful-conversation one of these days. Cecile highly respects Hugo and places a lot of trust in him, so the feeling is mutual.
(Actually, I was concerned for a period of time that she was a bit too optimistic, so as for now she seems to have entered a transitory stage of temporary maturity. :D; ) Making strange metaphors and analogies are always fun with Cecile, especially if they turn out to make sense in the end.
They should. I think it would be good for the both of them.
The temporary maturity suits her though. If she stayed super optimistic through all the stuff that is going on in the castle, I would have begun to have wondered about her. The subtle optimism works though.
They'll have plenty of time to talk when my AP test is done they go flying on Fubar, I'm sure.
That's a good point; I don't think anyone would be able to remain entirely cheerful considering the current events around Budehuc. I want Cecile to do some growing up, but I don't think it'd be realistic if she suddenly matured after one or two instances. And gradual changes in her thoughts and responses aren't always easy to show through RPing.
