Older woman says something to me outside the mall today. I know because her lips are moving. I take my headphone earbud out of one of the ears. "I'm sorry?"

"It's raining," she says.

No shit, I think. I take the other earbud out of the other ear, and I quickly evaluate her in a glance

Don't worry, I don't really like strangers talking to me either... which is why if someone random starts talking to me, I usually secretly turn the volume down, to see if it's important, but then turn it back up if it isn't. :look

lol; can't even recall where. I find them in the oddest of places all over the internet. Every so often, I'll just go hunting for a specific sort, and then I'll find some that I wasn't expecting. This was one of those. :)
