Oh, hello :) Congrats on having a new comp and i hope we'll see some more of your pretteh simmmies again :) Not much has changed actually. TSR still sucks, Secrets are still mean and a lot about GoS :D... What has changed is that a lot of creators have left TS2 and are creating for TS3 now :( Plenty of us are still play the old, pretty game though. Good for you for passing on TS3. The sims in it just look ridiculous. Also, all haris now are being "pookleted", not nouked, LOL! Oh, and MTS, has more crap on it than ever. There are quite a few "new" awesome creators here, on LJ. That's about it. Everything else is still the same- lots of drama :D
I'm glad to hear that the old game still has a fanbase! I'd hoped S3 would be modded to the point that everyone could look like a final fantasy character by now - but no, still blob people. Bah.
I'm really annoyed that AL is not being released for mac. I'm trying to partition my mac today so I can run windows tinyxp just for this game. If it doesn't work I'll use the mac games, but I have my fingers crossed.
It's sad that creators are leaving S2, but on the other hand it is probably better for me in some ways. I used to always spend my time window-shopping downloads, and never really finished decorating any houses or played with my poor sims. Maybe with less new content to hunt for, I would use existing content more effectively.
Good grief, I was just reading the new drama about TSR involved in taking down GoS. o_o Wtf. I'm glad at least MTS2 was just on maintenance; I've forgotten most of the basics and I'm reading their guides again.
Could you recommend some of the new creators you like? I'd love to check them out.
