so, this question is somewhat misleading, I think, because you don't get to say whether you think spooky is good or bad. I like spooky! So maybe my spooky vote should have been a not-spooky vote for the connotation...

Well, I like spooky too. I just don't happen to think the deer head is all that spooky. But who knows?

I voted not spooky, because 1) it's wire, and 2) it's cute and all bambi eyed. Had it been a rea deer head, yes, I'd vote spooky. But a real deer head it is not.

But, as someone with a bona fide animal phobia, I can understand if he's creeped out by it how it'd be nice to take it down.

So I guess the question is, does Wonko have a bona fide deer phobia? Hmmmm?!?! : )

He's not really afraid of deer. Maybe he just has a deer representation phobia because he maintains that the deer mural I painted at the last co-op we lived in is spooky too. Maybe I'll put a deer drawing in front of his face while he's sleeping and see if he screams when he wakes up.

it's not only not spooky, it's downright whimsical. and wonderful! how do you do that? seems really difficult.

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I think sculpting is sometimes easier than drawing cuz it's so flexible.
