This is a good idea.

Even on ordinary days I tend to forget some of this stuff just because even ordinary days can be overwhelming when one is in the habit of taking on too much.

While working on my own version I thought of a couple good ones for 'mood helpers': reading while snuggling with the cats and talking to a friend.
