Dreading Surgery, Trying to be Healthy

Jan 17, 2008 17:55

Yesterday I had my pre-surgery physical. I didn't even have to take my clothes off. The doctor talked to me, listened to heart and lungs, felt my pulse in my feet, and said I was good. On the other hand, I *did* have to have a liver and kidney and whatever-all-else organ function blood test done. And I got the Worst Blood-Drawer Ever.

Because it's a long post (not all about blood), I've been kind and cut it. )

Probably. The spicing was pretty much what I was used to. I was sad that Matar Paneer wasn't on the buffet! I think it's probably my favorite. Which one did you go to, North or South? Hint: South is vegetarian.

I don't know how the restaurant works in the evening--can you order from both the North and South menus in whichever dining room you sit in? For the buffet, you're limited to one room/restaurant.

I hear that during the weekdays, both rooms are packed.

I didn't know you guys were regulars! Though it's good to know that the secret to not being horribly crowded is to go on the weekend.

I hope surgery does what you need, my dear!

also, I found this community. It looks like something you need to know about.

Me too! The closer I get, the more I fail to be able to think about anything else.

And yes, that does sound like something I need to know about. Thank you!
