I did finish revisions on the Scorpion Dance manuscript by my self-imposed deadline, I have started querying agents, and I am going to Worldcon (officially DisCon III, as it’s in Washington DC this year).

The weekend does not seem to have been very weekend-like.

I got a work project dropped off on my doorstep late Friday afternoon, so I've spent a fair chunk of the weekend working on that (as they wanted it back Monday). Work is good, money is good, it's not too many hours, but I wish I didn't have to do it on the weekend ( Read more... )

State of the Abra IncubatorThe sprogling and I are doing well. I think he's going through a growth spurt right now--my belly certainly is! Where have I been? Um, I've been insanely busy for the last week. I've been working full hours at NgithOwl, plus the senior center job, plus more weekend hours from a work-from-home project. Yesterday I just ran out of oomph. I wasn't sleepy, just totally lacking in any motivation to do anything whatsoever.
