this really irked me. i'm in the Mid-Atlantic, so we're not much warmer than NJ and even we don't wear open-toed shoes in the winter. (well most people don't) most of Cuddy's attire seems inappropriate for her position, so why not keep it up.
I work @ a health care organization affiliated w/ the local hospital, & it is part of our policy/"contract" that we wear our name badges on our collars/in plain view so everyone can see them. We're supposed to take pride in our work & take ownership of our actions. Maybe Foreman thinks since he's "House Lite", he's as infamous as House & therefore everyone already knows who he is -- and if they don't recognize him on sight, he'd like to keep it that way. Heh, Maybe he's afraid the next vengeful gunman will be coming for him instead of House

Combined with Cuddy often wearing hers on her waist, which makes it rather hard to read either, I kinda wonder if those people are for some reason trying to remain anonymous.Lots of hospital staff do this in the real world, too. They're not SUPPOSED to (it's technically a violation of JCAHO standards for your ID to be below chest level), but lots of them do. I used to do it myself, in fact.
Since when is AIDS the only choice of condition that could compromise a person's immune system?
Incidentally, I have Crohn's Disease, which I believe can compromise one's immune system--or at the least make it go all wonky, because like Rheumatoid Arthritis it's one of those conditions in which the immune system attacks the body.
Which means a lot to me at the moment, since I got a flu shot last month and yet I've been sick in bed all day with the flu.
#5- Oh my gosh, that's exactly what I thought when I read the 7th HP book! It's perhaps a bit harsh that I expected Hagrid to die (and perhaps even wanted him to die), but I never liked him that much.
