Update: The sooner we get each set into the library, the more people can check it out before the premiere. Let's keep our momentum!
Hey Guys! We're starting a new wave of DVD donations, and could use some volunteers. We are now going to be targeting markets that did not have UPN, but will have the CW (Updated with new cities: Volunteers Needed ( Read more... )

Well, I already knew that my job made me miserable, but how much fun I was having spending all my work time on this campaign really hammered it home. I know it's ridiculous to quit a job without having another one lined up, but I'm okay on savings and not too worried about finding another one.

Help? I would love it if you could do some research on libraries in Jacksonville, Florida. If you want to take it a step further, you could contact someone there for confirmation.

I may be moving there in the fall, but since I'm not there yet maybe someone else would have better access. They did not have UPN, but will have the CW (which means I can go to college there! Yay!)

I read about the dvd campaign from TWop and I think it's a great idea! Thank you to everyone for their contributions. I will try to contact the local libraries in my area (12th Nielsen market) and see what I can do to help. In terms of trying to get the best deals possible, has someone tried contacting deepdiscountdvd (or another retailer) about bulk purchases? Maybe we can work something out with them, like free advertising of their site, in exchange for special pricing.

Alright I've tried to get a response from someone at all 3 places I said I would contact (Youngstown, El Paso and Corpus Christi). No one will call or e-mail me back with an answer. So I would either take them off the list or someone else can try with better luck. I started an internship this week so I'll be interning/working 76 hours a week and probably won't have time to regularly try to contact them. I can keep trying sporadically or someone else can take them. Sorry, I tried!

No problem! I will take Youngstown, and texasjen has said she would do the other two when she gets back in town.

I completely understand the difficulty in getting some of these folks to call you back: thank you for the effort!

I finally heard back from El Paso. "If there are still copies of this available, El Paso Public Library would like at least one and could use as many as 13 sets."

Sounds like they're definitely interested. Let me know if there are still funds to send him something and I can send him a reply.

We can definitely hook El Paso up with at least 2 sets. They are both in the top 100 and a non-UPN market, so I think they're priority. Please e-mail me the address.
