I'm not sure what city you're in, or what part of the world you're in, since I can't access your journal or profile page, but I've known several 'goths' in the Los Angeles area who (1) are not caucasian; (2) don't dress in 'standard' goth clothing all the time; (3) occasionally wear pink, purple, green, yellow or white without issue; (4) love Tim Burton films; (5) despise shopping at Hop Topic; (6) love true crime novels, serial killers, crime noir films, and anything having to do with true crime; and (7) have differing levels of appreciation for all kinds of goth music
