I was watching the end of The Human Footprint tonight on Channel 4 (incidentally, David Tennant needs to be allowed to speak in his own accent more often). There were a couple of bits that shocked me - for example, over 40% of people choose not to read books at all, and there are now more households with two cars than two books. That's just crazy

(I had painkillers like those. Well, for me it was a short period of being high, then lots of dead-to-the-world-sleep. I miss them!)
