I'm so glad the Oscars don't buy into the hype of movie studios' marketing tactics anymore. Of course I got up and watched them all unfold. I really appreciate how multicultural the nominations are. I just watched Monster. I am totally impressed by Charlize Theron now, and I thought they just gave her the Oscar as a vanity prize for wearing all of those prosthetics. I was cleaning out my bouquets from the wedding. As I was taking out the dead flowers, I pulled out a robust-looking rose out of the vase and as soon as I plucked it out, all of the petals fell down to the ground. It was heartbreaking.
