Thanks! And, ahaha, that would be Pandemonium's In a Wild Abyss, I believe. I haven't actually tallied up any numbers, but I knew Goldilocks wasn't going to win as soon as I saw what it was running against. I know my place. ;) I was rather surprised that Blood and Fire won, actually, considering that it was running against one of Darth Fingon's.
(I'm sorry I didn't review more of your stories, by the way. I had them on my wishlist -- I just never found time... I do hope they shift the end-date back to New Year's next year, I really would have liked the time over my Christmas holidays for reviewing. As it was, these last few weeks of termtime have just been too hectic.)
Thank you! As I've said above to V, I believe that would be Pandemonium's In a Wild Abyss, though I haven't tallied up any numbers. I wasn't hoping for more than second place for Goldilocks as soon as I saw the competition. ;)
Aww, thank you! your reviews made it possible. <3 You're going to hate me: I carelessly opened the file for the Last Serious Silmarillion story and now there's a definite risk I may be about to start writing that instead of Tales of Older Days... oops. :'D
>>I had such good intentions, too, but RL intervened.<<
Et tu? *g* Last year, I did most of my reviews during the Christmas holidays, but obviously that wasn't possible this year, so I've done embarrassingly few reviews and not nearly all I wanted. :-(
Thank you! Some of them surprised me -- like second place for Tales of Older Days. But I am pleased about Blood and Fire and Dawn & Dusk taking first in their categories!
And yes: I really wish we had that extra fortnight, so that I could get in more reviews over the Christmas holidays. I started pretty well, but was then distracted for the summer and most of this term, and it's just been completely too busy over the last few weeks. I feel really bad about it, too. So many good stories that I wanted to review and didn't! Everyone seems to have had this that I've spoken to, so maybe they'll put it back to the old system next year.
