I suspect the stimulus will go to socks, yarn, and the trip to my friend's wedding. The tax refund has already covered some books, gifts, and will cover my copay on a root canal (exciting!). Since I would have had to pay for these things regardless, I'm most happy they didn't come out of my usual bank balance and it's not hit hard by these things.

Well, as my tax refund, paychecks and upcoming inheritance (small, but enough) will be paying off all of my existing credit card debt and purchasing a laptop for school next term I will be purchasing an iphone with my "rebate". I have sprint too but I am dropping them asap. While i'd never had any issues with them before they made a decision recently to pull (quickly, with no notice) all support from the independant sprint stores in many of the rural areas. This basically bankrupted my future father in law. I just can't keep my service with them after that. So, iphone and new carrier it is.
