Happy: Tax refund and paycheck on the SAME DAY. Bank account is fatty fat fat!
Proud: The feeling I hope I get when I use almost all of it to pay down on my debt snowball, which will mean a zero balance on a credit card that hasn't seen one of those in a few years. :P
Gonna give myself at least one little splurge, though I'm pondering just killing debt with all of this and using my "stimulus bonus" to buy myself something fun.
Candidates for fun:
- New cell phone (not likely, as I really don't need one, and if I decided I wanted an i-Phone I'd have to switch providers. My contract *is* up with Sprint but, eh. I don't like phones enough.).
- Shade plants for the garden (not really all *that* fun, but the gift that keeps on giving).
- "Shopping spree" of sorts at Hugger Mugger. (Yeah, a clothing shopping spree for yoga pants. Except that the stuff I wanted is now on sale and, thus, no longer available in the sizes/colors I wanted. Boo.)
- Yarn. (Good god, I don't need any more yarn right now. I really don't. The stash is outgrowing the secondary stash location.)
- Books, music, tea. (See above).
- A good reading chair for my office. (All the ones in my price range that I've found look cheap and are obviously fake leather. Restoration Hardware, why must you be so $$$?)
Hmm.
What will/would you all be spending your "stimulus package" or tax refund on?
