“You can’t be here! It doesn’t make sense for you to be here! I refuse to even believe that you are here!”: When Doc first arrives through the Rift, he’s going to be pretty scared and confused. In fact, there’s a good chance that he may believe he may have accidentally run right back into his hated Arcadia, especially if he sees anyone doing ( Read more... )

I offer my Tiem Laydee (withpockets), Donna, for... well, anything. XD She's very friendly. Not exactly scientific, but her brain capacity and IQ have had, when she came through, a SIGNIFICANT spike, given Time Lords' intelligence levels, so she's a quick study right enough.

He can teach her sciencey things! :D

...I shouldn't be interacting with people when I'm in this mood. Uh. Don't mind me, rly.

:D I was kinda hoping Donna would come up! Because although I'm only a Who fan by proxy, I had this idea. . . .

Does she like Jules Verne? ;)

Donna: Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea? Classics, had to read them for class, only ones I had any fun with. And the movies were good.

Ironic -- the two books by him Doc mentioned in the movie. :p (My favorite is "Around the World in 80 Days.")

Shepard (fightyourfoes) gives many people a reason to hate her. So I nominate her for “I wouldn’t give you the pleasure; you’ll just have to go ahead and shoot!”

Revan (this account) is kind of a gear head-she built her own assassin droid, after all! And she's also very good at, erm, therapy. Revan!therapy is good. So Revan for “Next Saturday night, we’re sending you back to the future!” and “You can’t be here! It doesn’t make sense for you to be here! I refuse to even believe that you are here!”? =P

Yes, I've seen Shepard can be a right bitch. I imagine things would be bad if she and Doc met up under the wrong circumstances. *thinks on it*

Revan definitely sounds like a good choice for the other two. :) I imagine funny convos if HK-47 came up.

Well, I have two geeky boys who'd love to meet him- Daniel Faraday (unstuckphysics) and Marshall Flinkman (akablackkitty. Dan's bigger on the science stuff and he was actually trying to discover the secrets to time travel back to his world (and failed at it), so he will totally adore Doc. Marshall's more of a tech geek, but he's like Q from James Bond. He turns necklaces into high-tech microphones and tracking devices. Don't mess with Flink. XD

Oooo, I am intrigued by your characters and wish to subscribe to your newsletter. I imagine Doc would immediately gravitate toward anyone working on time travel. :D And Flinkman just sounds fun overall.

This is not a mun journal. Really. Um.. *shifty?*

Hee! I love my dorky boys. And it did occur to me that if Doc wants someone for the fourth storyline that he might interact with more often, simply because he's in the hotel is Sark (sarkraticmethod). Former terrorist, former assassin, tends to make everyone he's around hate his breathing guts, thinks he's smarter than everyone, not exactly trustworthy and is only here because he has a deal with Jack, and Marshall's afraid of him and Dan doesn't like him. XD Of course, he's also twenty-two and has Bambi eyes, so somehow I don't think Doc would see him as much of a threat, but I figured I'd offer him up. XD

I have... Way too many characters, honestly.

So I'm beginning to see. XD

I'll keep him in mind. If he ticks Doc off enough, it could work.

(Honestly, there's one character I already know Doc's going to hate -- The Rani. I read up on her at the wiki, and she reminds me a lot of the guy I created to be Doc's Keeper (minus the whole "animals flocking to him" thing.))

Harry might be a good choice for #4, if you'd like. I'm not so sure about Daniel - he doesn't despise scientists, exactly, but he doesn't usually make friends out of them unless they can relate on some other level.

Maybe. Dunno if he's evil enough quite yet, Har.

Daniel and Doc would probably be casual acquaintances -- the kind to nod at each other in the hallways and such.

Aubrey would definitely fit in next saturday night, we're sending you back to the future! as xe's basically stuck doing tinkering, etc, now that xes Official Science Credits aren't really needed.

Xe's also poking me about asking whether or not -- plotting dependent, obvs -- xe could fit in forget about me, Marty, and save yourself.

(Xe's kind of doing the "Science! Potential Friends!" dance in the back of my head. :P)

LoL, so I see in the new thread. :) Yay science!

Maaaybe -- let's see how well they hit it off. :) Definitely a possibility, though. :D

It's definitely dependent on the whole hitting-it-off thing. Aubs is just...overexcitable. Sometimes. :P
