The first is that, honestly, I can't see Azula pulling a total-breakdown here. She's had lots of defeats, and she tends to get back up and try again, usually improving on her old plan. Iroh, beating her didn't stop her, Aang beating her didn't stop her, even Katara beating her and needing to be saved by Zuko didn't. She breaks down easily when she can't control people, but physical combat doesn't see to do it.
The second part was trying to figure out what Suki would do with her. And the obvious option was, of course, 'throw her in the securest jail' which is naturally Ba Sing Se. And that Long Feng would be in jail at the same time and... yeah.

Ever since then had escaped, Ty Lee had decided she was being ‘grumpy’ and needed to be ‘cheered up’.
A week. With Ty Lee relentlessly trying to cheer her up, on a crowded ship.
