[Meme Silliness] [Bored and Easily Amused]

Nov 30, 2012 10:47

Home sick, slightly feverish and bored, which seems like an EXCELLENT time for a meme. :)

Tell me about a story plotline I haven't written, and I'll give you one sentence from that story.

There may or may not be amusing use of [REDACTED]. Fair warning.

larp thinking, bored and easily amused, meme

The fence (which we can't rep, obviously) is considered to go down into the ground deeper than can be dug, and is tall enough that attempts to go over it will fail (take 2 Massive Damage from the "fall").

There will be exactly three Plot Bunnies on the field at any one time - see link for the costume and makeup. They do not speak, but will understand what is said to them.

For Friday night, they will be generally helpful but passive - show the PCs where the cabins are, food, etc. If attacked, they will hide behind the PCs or under furniture, etc. All Plotbunnies will have to listen for the phrase "I wish..." and do their best to make it come true in as creative a manner as possible. I have purchased a case of 5-Hour-Energy, just in case.

If the PCs haven't gotten creative by Saturday afternoon, or NO ONE has said "I wish..." by then, one of the town NPCs will do a staged run in front of the PCs with a per-arranged improbable item. PC should then start experimenting with the Plotbunnies.

Nya comes back to Shadowfane after 400 years...

She rose from the waters silently, hesitantly; the magic which named her Friend still glowed within her, so long as the people of Shadowfane still bore that name, but she understood that, in the way of the Gifted, those that so named her were likely long-gone, passed over into a realm which she still did not fully understand.

The buildings had changed; more of them, closer together, of different materials, now. There were people, but they were...different.

:-D Whether your intention or not, I'm now envisioning Naia in a steam-punk world. There's a miniature blimp flying around her head and she's batting at it like a cat.

It had taken nearly a decade of careful modifications; straining the very limits of not only her own abilities, but those of the greatest minds the Do Sha Kaa had produced. Toward the end, she could not even exist on earth - could not bear the heat of the sun, the oxygen-rich air, the lack of vacuum pressure. Those last few months had been spent in space, in echoing silence and cold, growing used to it. (Or as used to it as she could - she could say nothing about her mental state anyway, with no mouth, or vocal cords...)

Before the final ritual, which would send her back in time, back to the beginning, she spent a great deal of time planning her attack - she was going after an entity, THE Entity this time, not it's Avatar, and she needed to be prepared: not just physically, but emotionally, of what was to come. She already knew how she was going to die, and this wasn't it. But that didn't mean it wouldn't hurt... or that she wouldn't fail.
