It sounds like more of a "yes" than a "maybe-probably-yes" to me :) We miss you too and will be glad to have you back. The jury can stay out as long as it likes... well, within reason, especially if other options present themselves :) You should probably at least give me a couple of days notice if you are moving here so I can get my shit out of the second bedroom if necessary! I know I was insistent on advising a specific direction at Hermann's. But I know you will make the choice that's best for you, and I was probably overstepping my boundaries to say what I thought about it. Because really, you know you better than I do :) Am I making any sense? I do suspect you might have already made this decision too though...
Caitlin, as a Vancouverite of the past three years (not as native as Tyra and Cayley with obviously different experiences), I believe you will be far happier in Victoria, based on the reasons you have given above and the fact that i have had similar experiences( besides the entirety of the bike incidents). It almost feels as if this city picks and chooses whom it would like in its borders. I do not feel comfortable here either, finding a smaller city with a homier feel more desirable for my own needs. This place is too big and too loud, and as soon as my schooling is complete, I too will look for a safer harbour in which to call home
1. YAYYYYY 2. I concur with all of the above. No sense in soldiering on just to stay in the sandbox anyways. Sometimes sand just keeps getting in your eye and the jungle gym is better. 3. I think this is a fantastic way to come full circle. Plus we miss you so much!
