strains and such
so i think i have inadvertently strained something in my back around my shoulder blades and then i am catching myself developing this horrid posture while playing the flute that is just aggravating it. I'm not too surprised as my back is always absurdly tense but um yea, not cute, not cute at all. -
atrophed day part one
as a few of you who read this (when i actually post)/talk to me know thursdays are my "hell day" as some people like to call it. I normally have five classes (one being a speaking conference with my german teacher) from 10am - 4:30 with an hour and a half of break in total. my mom got me my first paying gig. i don't know much about it other than i'm apparently going to be playing inbetween ppl talking about something - it has something to do with one of the board or directors that my mom is on. tech-support son
my mom got her blackberry today from her office. what does this mean to me you ask? it means that for at least a month i will be asked how to do such and such on a blackberry (note that i have never even held a blackberry...) -

so today was my first flute lesson of the summer with a new teacher, and it was so good. i feel like i'm going to get a lot acomplished. she worked with me on my tone for a while and i'm already sounding better. she seemed really pleased with the way i responded to what she was telling me to do. she also gave me some good excersizes to work on my ( Read more... ) -
