These are really interesting! I love the angle you've caught on the third one. I'm very much looking forward to seeing more of your pictures -- do you have an online album anywhere?
I do/did have an online album, but it's for ALL kinds of stuff (ie, icons, pictures, whatev) and not just my photography. I might make a new one just for it though.
I agree with your strength in odd angles. You have a very particular style, which you pull off well. Perhaps we'll mini challenge you to go back to some of those same subjects that you've caught so well in B&W and get you to make yourself play with color and lighting. With your eye for the weird angles, I think that lighting and backlighting could really work for you. And with a digital camera, you can play around with a hundred different tweaks without worrying about wasting film.
I guess I just need to go back and really relearn all of the fun things my camera can do as I only REALLY know how to turn on the black and white function. Haha. And maybe the sepia. :)
I feel like anything my camera can do on its own in combination with my own eye and creativity should be enough for me. That's just like me! I'm dithering on whether to go for a graphics programme or not. I don't want them to let me become sloppy, you know?
I love the unique-ness of your pictures! That second one especially is a wonderful take. I look forward to seeing more :)
