(no subject)
So, by way of frodolives33's LJ, I stumbled across this and am completely excited. Alright, info about me...
Name: Sarah
Age: 20 (well, almost - birthday's on the 25th of this month).
Equipment: Canon PowerShot SD400. It's a digital camera and I'm quite in love with it. I'd like to get into actual film, but don't have the time or funds to get into that, really. Maybe for my birthday? I have Photoshop CS, but I used it mainly for icons (which I could never actually quite get the hang of) and have never edited any of my own photos in it. I'm not sure if I want to - really. I feel like anything my camera can do on its own in combination with my own eye and creativity should be enough for me.
Strengths: I'd like to think I have an ok eye for weird angles and "picturesque" kind of photos. I also have a tendency to shoot better in black and white than in color.
Improvements: Getting a new spin on certain things; shooting in color. Figuring out how to take abstract subjects, etc.
And I'll stop posting for now so I actually have new things to post every once in a while. :)
