Happy Valentine's Day, Jill! [She'll be nice and avoid any Valentine jokes, promise.] I'm heading down to Cafe Alpha because Cube said there was something going on. Would you like to join me? It'll be more fun than just hanging out in the apartment all day.

Exactly, after the third round of being called the station's personal "Valentine" it was heading into the territory of wanting to punch someone.

[He would have been one of the people to make the joke, too. He just would have been sure to have been the first one to say it. When it could be considered cute.]

I'd like to consider myself a good judge of character and pissing you off doesn't seem like it would benefit me health-wise. Why anyone else would attempt to do so is...a mystery.

Most of the guys on my team felt a "good" joke was worth the possibility of putting me in a foul mood.

...I used to be--technically I was a special service member, but in Raccoon City? There wasn't much a special tactics squad had to do outside of taking on the regular force's grunt work.
