It's not even really that in my country (I guess BTS are known and also popular here, but maybe not more than, say, Billie Eilish). The only japanese entertainment thing we get are anime and arthouse movies with actors I have never heard or read of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But well, a fangirl has to hope for miracles ;)
