I didn't get shit done today in the work department, but: TONNER ALICE DOES COME WITH THE LITTLE GREY CHOKER! ALL IS FORGIVEN. Well, a lot is forgiven. I can mess with her hair; I can't make tiny dumbass doll heraldic crests ( Read more... )

wtf, dolls, harry potter, star wars, twilight, movies, books, facebook, x-men, why we can't have nice things, the dark tower, tonner, lord of the rings

Martin Freeman can play as many hobbits as he wants, but if it ends up delaying the second series of Sherlock in any way, I will cut a bitch.

I think he'd have been an awesome Bilbo Baggins. At the same time, Sherlock is one of the best things I've seen on TV recently, and he is great as Watson in it.

I wish he could have done both.

I realize the First Class scene is outside, but I don't think I've ever seen Emma Frost that covered up. There's more material in that hat than you'll find her wearing on an average day.

Thank you. I was afraid if I said anything, I'd come off as a pervert.

I am so excited for whenever you do the next Secret Life. As I'm sure many people are. But no pressure! :)

I keep thinking the Alice's face--which doesn't really bother me--will look better in person, because so many Tonners do. I don't know why they never photograph all that well, but there you are.

I'm more ticked that she doesn't have one of her cute layer-y outfits from pretty much ANY OTHER SCENE IN ANY OF THE MOVIES.

That's a good point. They seem to always be better in person. I don't know if it's the fact that they're more "realistic" looking than, say, a Barbie, that makes them photograph oddly or what, but she probably has potential in person. I definitely agree with you on the outfit. That outfit is almost...too bleak? Heavy? It's not really Alice's signature style.

Galadriel, on the other hand, could not be more perfect, from the real pictures I've seen. I want her omg.

Yeah--the outfit's from the end of New Moon or something, I forget. And they used it for the action figure as well. I don't know WHY, though.

I am suddenly filled with a longing for the existence of vampire Amish romance. Someone make this happen. Or, at least Photoshop the cover.

I don't know what's more insane: someone pulling hair out of RPattz's arm or RPattz thinking it was safe to roadtrip across the U.S. to begin with. Bless the boy, he's still nuts.

January Jones is a terrible, terrible actress. She's like a black hole of suck in the middle of Mad Men. Not that I'm a huge fan of the show (yeah, I know, I'm the only person I know who doesn't love it), but everyone else on MM has serious acting chops. And then there's Jones, the blonde mannequin with dead eyes and one facial expression. Ugh.
