I also have a more expansive raw linkspam feed from my Google Reader on FriendFeed. (I've always had that, in ( Read more... )

I love me some DiCaprio. The man is on FIRE.

HOLY MAN Tonner knows about you? If he doesn't take your advice and hurry it up I'll poke him with a spork or something.

I'm afraid he's going to find that most recent doll entry with 100 comments of people bitching about the Doctor Who dolls, TBH.

(Besides, I think they're waiting on Ashley Greene's approval of the sculpt. I'm sure they'd put the doll out if they could.)

Man, I wish I could get them to make "Little Dorrit" dolls. But apparently I'm the only one who wants them. :-( Ah well.

Fascinating story about Emily Dickinson. I should add the book to my ever-expanding reading list, which at this point I should be able to get through by the time I'm, oh, about 97.

Funnily enough, the Sewall biography of her is the one I've had for a gazillion years. I've had a love affair with Dickinson since I was barely into double-digits, and really really want this book.

Bill Nighy recast as Reepicheep in Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

I have no problems with this since my allegiance always goes towards Nighy, but I assume the reason is because Reepicheep would be older? It's been forever since I've actually read the Narnia books.

eta: omg I'm watching the Showgirls 2 trailer right now and it is AMAZING. And obviously shot on a $10 budget. My favorite part is when she crawls out of the tub because it is obviously a reshoot due to all the water already on the floor.

No more Eddie Izzard as Reepicheep? This makes me sad!

I'm sorry they felt they couldn't use him again. He seemed to work ok in the part but maybe considering it's a larger role in this one they decided to go for a bigger name. If so that's a real shame cos I reckon Eddie could have done it just fine.
