So today was my grandmother's 86th birthday, and while we're having a family thing for her on Sunday, my mother, Sister Girl and I went over to have lunch with her today, just because. I don't know that I'd consider Rancid a metal band... I do love their song Ruby Soho, though...

Heh, I'm pretty sure Rancid doesn't consider itself (themselves?) a metal band. (Ruby Soho and Time Bomb are two of my favorite songs, too!)

My guess is Sister Girl didn't realize there was a band named Rancid. Or if she did, she had her genres crossed?

Cleo, were you actually supposed to be a punk or ska duo? The name would still fit.
