August sucks. It's a sucky month, and the weather usually sucks too.

This weekend? I'm driving across Ohio to visit friends in Michigan. Cleveland, then cornfields. I've done this trip too many times. It's quite dull.

I drove to Ohio today. It rained on me the whole way, until I *got* to Ohio, and then there was blue sky. It improved my opinion of Ohio dramatically.

However, I also went nowhere near Cleveland.

Cleveland's pretty well known for never seeing sunlight, but damn, that was a dismal drive. Lake Erie with its special weather...

Going to Barter Books and waiting to see if a short story of mine will be published. Hopefully these 2 things will be August's saving graces. Mine wasn't that great either.

I am thinking good thoughts for you that September will be better.

I'm so excited about that movie! I lived by the site and the movie was filled in another county but the area is pretty much equal to it all. We moved two years ago and I want to go see the movie and go 'aw home!' Enjoy!!!

Um, sneezing (allergies), ignoring cleaning the bathrooms, sneezing some more, getting my character into a catfight on an RPG, occasional sneezing, researching Hans Christian Anderson and Grimm's Fairytales, and buying a lot more kleenex.

Or taking an antihistamine and not doing anything. So, prolly the above.

Love the icons, btw. Specially the cat (someone should put the 'Cleolinda is never making it up' on that, imo! :) ).
