Well, his mother was a terrier; we don't know what the father was. I tend to think it was some kind of labrador, though.

Listening to the podcast, thought I'd answer the question that comes up midway: Adrian mentions that Blake was monitoring the retired heroes for the government, and that was how he discovered Veidt's plan.

It was literally a single line in all that dense Ozy exposition at the end. Something like, 'Nixon had Blake spying on us,' no details.
