MOAR SNOW

Mar 01, 2009 12:17

You guys, I don't think I've ever seen it snow this hard in my life. (I mean, maybe it has overnight when I wasn't looking. We did have WINTER STORM '93, after all.) It's snowing harder now than it was this morning, and the temperature's actually inching down.Anyway, I decided to take some more pictures, to show you how much has fallen since that ( Read more... )

picspam, yard safari, snow!

How the hell did you get more snow down in Birmingham than I got in Southern TN? THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

We got it down in the Valley, too. I'd frankly prefer not. I HATE driving in snow. *grumble*

YOU CAN KEEP THE SNOW. I've had enough of it up here in OH and I am so ready for spring. Snow makes driving to work a not fun experience.

See, we get it once or twice a year. This is probably the most snow I've seen in one place in five years, maybe ten. So it's terribly exciting down here.

Word. Isn't it weird to see those pictures of driveways, sidewalks, and roads NOT covered in snow when the rest of the world is?

I am with you, I get sick of it here in Wyoming. Pretty pictures by the way.

Don't you have a pool? I think that would be a neat shot if it starts snowing again.

I like the ones from the kitchen window. The framing by the roof gives it a Victorian feel. edit: also the planter in between the two chairs looks like a giant coffee mug making me think of Alice in Wonderland.

We do, but it's tarped over for the winter. The snow won't even stick to it (the way it won't stick to the roads, either).

I lol'd at the combination of your icon and that comment. I'm in Athens, so I know the feeling! I haven't seen over an inch of snow in fifteen years!

The three pictures of the back porch are fantastic. Seriously, I would frame them.

Yeah, your neighborhood looks really beautiful. And this is pretty normal where I come from, we just had a foot or two a week ago and probably will continue to have it until the end of March (when it will all turn to rain until June, blech). But then I am in Europe and in the mountains, so...
