MOAR SNOW

Mar 01, 2009 12:17

You guys, I don't think I've ever seen it snow this hard in my life. (I mean, maybe it has overnight when I wasn't looking. We did have WINTER STORM '93, after all.) It's snowing harder now than it was this morning, and the temperature's actually inching down.Anyway, I decided to take some more pictures, to show you how much has fallen since that ( Read more... )

picspam, yard safari, snow!

That is a crazy lot of snow! So pretty! I hope you get to enjoy it and don't have to go out in it. (Snow is so pretty until you have to walk everywhere in it to get to class and work and crap. Bah humbug!)

Anyway, it's good to see you unleash your inner Thomas Kinkade!

I live in MD and we just heard that in the next couple days we could get 6-10 inches. Its supposed to start snowing tonight. Isn't it March? Its March right? We've had like no snow all winter and the heavy stuff hits in MARCH!? Where is Spring?

Pfft...I'm in WI. Spring doesn't start here till like May. While it isn't a yearly occurance, I'm no longer phased by having snow in April even. However, it's been such a cold winter here this year that I'm beyond ready for weather at least in the upper 30s.

Oh dear, I couldn't live like that. I can hardly make it through winter as it is. I just want warmth!

Well, I may have exaggerated a little. But it's usually winter-like for the vast majority of March at least. We have had some days in the 30s and have even had a couple in the 40s, but it hasn't been consistant. Like today? It was -2 when I walked into work.

Your neighborhood looks really pretty. At least in the pics! We're supposed to get the snow tonight. Nothing here yet.

Well, it all melted away shortly after lunch--you'll probably get it pretty hard for a few hours, so enjoy it while it lasts. : )

I'm so pissed it decided to snow now. I have been living back at home in Georgia for the last couple of months just begging for snow.

Then I come back to Texas to defend my thesis and BAM! Snow! Ugh, so disappointing :(
