Fact: February is the beginning of spring in Alabama.
That's why I love visiting my grandmother in Montgomery for spring break. It's still completely spastic up in northern Virginia well into April, so it's nice to spend a week in a place where there are actual plants growing.
I need help! What Cleo entries should I recommend for LJ's anniversary book? The one that comes to mind is the beignet that Cleo's sister made, but I can't find a link to that. Thanks!
Yeah, lemme go look--possibly the Nancy Drew one, people seemed to like that. There's also m15m, I guess. Van Helsing or POTO, those two were fairly strong? I'd suggest Twilight/15M, but it's got pictures, and I don't know that they want to tangle with those.
Yep. It hit 40 here and we all looked outside (because we're too sick to move) and thought, "Whee! Only 1, maybe 2, definitely not more than 3 months until Spring!"
It was trenchcoat weather (as opposed to long-wool-coat-with-scarf-mittens-and-hat weather) in Boston. And the sun was shining! And there were puffy clouds! It felt like spring.
And a Michiganian (screw you LJ spellchecker, I am not a Michigander... Michigoose maybe ;) ). I got all excited today because there's a spot of bare ground over the septic tank.

I mean, to choose one from, not all four or anything.
