Took me 50 minutes to make it through the line in Brooklyn. We went to the poll at 6am when it opened.
But the coolest thing was that even with the wait, and all the people who were there, there was a level of excitement just coursing through the gym. And everyone was really chill and nearly gleeful.
I find there's been a lot of goodwill toward mankind today, which makes me really happy. Everyone's excited to vote, and I think people aren't too worried because no matter what happens, bush won't be president. Everyone at the polls was really friendly, and a lot of people were talking to me on the street (I'm wearing an Obama shirt)
Well, it's good to see everyone's out, willing to be heard? I already voted, but I live in a small township, there was barely a line where I was. (Then again, people were moving awful.)
PS: There's room on our sofa couch for anyone wanting to GTFO if things don't turn out right. We'll stock the freezer with Pizza Pops and toaster streudal.
Richmond, VA - In like at 8:05am out of line at 9:35am. 1hr and 30min. Not too bad because the line was moving pretty fast but I would still suggest giving yourself PLENTY of time to stand in the lines! :)
