Heh - I did early voting the 2nd week it was available - and the only reasons I had to wait were
1) I recently moved and they had to go find my new address
2) my signature was challenged
(which happens about 1/3 of the time - I had a job that required signing lots of forms so my signature is MUCH less legible than it was when I first registered. I always bring extra ID in case this happens)

Ugh it will only get worse as the day drags on...

kinda makes me glad I lost my voters registration card in my move a few weeks ago... Eh I didn't like either candidate anyway...

sorry, I can't agree with you here. voting is a priveledge, something many people in this world don't have - not to mention women got the right to vote less than 100 years ago. I don't care if you vote for Mickey Mouse, but vote.

JMVHO adn YMMV.

Um... really?

Can I have your vote, then? I'm Canadian, and if you're going to waste it, I want it.

You don't need the card, just a government issued photo ID.

Long lines in Montgomery County, PA as well.

But it's worth it to vote, and to get free Starbucks.

And free Ben and Jerry's and free Chic-Fil-A, too :)

Oh, free Chic-Fil-A? Didn't know about that. Cows for Obama, then? :)

My closest Ben & Jerry's is down on Locust Street, in Philadelphia proper.

Also, free Krispie Kremes, but my closest location is in NYC.

Is it bad that I'm more interested at looking at the pretty fall colors than worrying about the election? :) (Of course, I vote absentee, so my ballot was mailed in weeks ago.) I didn't realize Birmingham got such pretty fall folliage.

Oh, we get some gorgeous colors if we get enough rain in the summer, and it was pretty wet this year. I remember there used to be some fantastic scarlet trees on my walk home from school when I was in junior high.
