Heh - I did early voting the 2nd week it was available - and the only reasons I had to wait were 1) I recently moved and they had to go find my new address 2) my signature was challenged (which happens about 1/3 of the time - I had a job that required signing lots of forms so my signature is MUCH less legible than it was when I first registered. I always bring extra ID in case this happens)
sorry, I can't agree with you here. voting is a priveledge, something many people in this world don't have - not to mention women got the right to vote less than 100 years ago. I don't care if you vote for Mickey Mouse, but vote.
Is it bad that I'm more interested at looking at the pretty fall colors than worrying about the election? :) (Of course, I vote absentee, so my ballot was mailed in weeks ago.) I didn't realize Birmingham got such pretty fall folliage.
Oh, we get some gorgeous colors if we get enough rain in the summer, and it was pretty wet this year. I remember there used to be some fantastic scarlet trees on my walk home from school when I was in junior high.

kinda makes me glad I lost my voters registration card in my move a few weeks ago... Eh I didn't like either candidate anyway...

Can I have your vote, then? I'm Canadian, and if you're going to waste it, I want it.

But it's worth it to vote, and to get free Starbucks.

My closest Ben & Jerry's is down on Locust Street, in Philadelphia proper.
Also, free Krispie Kremes, but my closest location is in NYC.

Okay I so won an argument with my friend then. And yay! Now we can go get some free ice creams.
