Fairly productive day--a long slow slog, but I kept on keepin' on. I mean, my eyelid's started twitching again, but what're you gonna do.

Today's journal flashback: Van Helsing in Fifteen Minutes, because that's pretty much what started everything. And, you know, Halloween and stuff. Speaking of which, I have something fun planned for tomorrow, if ( Read more... )

Pandora's a player? For some reason I thought it was just an internet radio thing.

It's internet radio that you can sorta customize. It's awesome, and I love it, and I found a lot of great new music from it - but it's definitely not a player.

Pandora's fantastic. You type in a song or artist and they "analyze" it and create a playlist of similar songs (or sometimes, if they have access, that song or others by the artist). After you create a bunch of playlists you can also put it on shuffle to play random selections.

It really gives good recommendations. I too have found a lot of new music on it.

All that to say "Seconded."

I'm a huge fan of winamp, myself. I don't use iTunes at all, don't even have it on my computer. Winamp has always been free when I've downloaded it.

I don't think you can download or purchase music with it, though, just listen to it. But you can make playlists and things, and I find it very easy to use.

Yeah, I'm mostly concerned with playlists and easy browsing.

I'm with you there - I need something to use to sync my Zen X-Fi and organize all my music because the software that came with it sucks. A lot. Let me know what you think of MediaMonkey? I was considering it.

I've always found winamp to be easier to browse than other programs (windows media player confuses the hell outa me), and I make playlists in it all the time : )

Not going to lie, I would not have an issue with Christian Bale playing all my leading men. At all.

I harbor the dim hope that someday he'll return to his Newsies roots and do another musical.

I'm surprised he hasn't kneecapped Hugh Jackman yet to get the Cleopatra musical away from him.
