And to cleolinda, Twilight should come with a warning about brain damage. The other half informed me today that he stumbled across several communities devoted to the subject, including fanfiction. When I pressed for details, he got a glazed look in his eyes and just kept repeating it was painful.

I look forward to the Dragonball movie consisting of 80 minutes of guys with spiky anime hair grunting and threatening each other, followed by 1 minute of bright lights and then 5 minutes of lots of dust clouds obscuring everything while a voiceover guy says that this totally amazing fight will continue in the next movie.

Not that I had to see to episode after episode of that crap while babysitting or anything.

Seriously, if you ever desire a collaborator, I AM YOUR WOMAN. I'm actually working on a iRiff of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I don't know if I'll get the balls (and the spare cash) to get the necessary equipment/software to put it together, but I have a dream.

Also, PLZ TO BE DOING BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA PLZ.

Well, a microphone obviously, and some sort of sound recording/editing program. I am not a computer whiz, though, so I don't know what I would look for or how much it would cost.

Oh, shit, I think I found all that stuff for free. I got a computer microphone for like $9 at CVS (haven't used it yet, don't know how good it is). Go to download.com and start looking for free programs--maybe someone can recommend one. My Creative Zen player came with a bunch of recording/studio software, so that's what I would probably use. I don't know about the movies themselves--I would have just been like, "Here's an audio track, go get your DVD and press play... NOW."
