Who returned to 600 comment alerts in her inbox? I DID, I DID!

So mostly, I dealt with trial news today. For those of you who wanted more context for JKR's testimony, the Leaky Cauldron has about as thorough a writeup as you can get without recording devices, although Melissa has had to recuse herself as of today because one of her emails got used ( Read more... )

Cleo, I saw this and thought of you, and after dealing with all this FW stuff, you'll probably need a good laugh:

Rifftrax is going to do a track for Cloverfield.

Heh. I'm glad I went ahead and did a Fifteen Minutes, then. I keep meaning to buy one of the Trax and I just haven't yet.

Yahoo knows you're stressed and is trying to amuse you?

I send you hugs and cookies and hot cocoa and a snuggly blanket for your FW efforts (as I add to the comments, woe. Sorry!). Use them well!

P.S. Good luck with GoF!!

"Ooga booga! Ooga booga! Rah! Rah! Rah! Rah!"

Ahem. Any Ithaca College alums or current students will know what I'm talking about.

That has to be the most awesome error message ever.

The html tag isn't an error but rather a comment, something written in the code by a programmer and normally for other programmers looking at the code to read; it appears your browser didn't fully load the page and displayed the html code for everyone to see.

It looks like some software engineer at Yahoo with a sense of humor was really bored one day and put that in.

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I had more fun slipping useless bits of code into my programs and seeing if my teacher caught them. I think the funniest one was when I slipped a comment into a public static statement. It read something like:

public static void main(//all your base are belong to us)

She drew little smiley faces all over the margins XD
