YAY! And thank you for the link to Aromaleigh. I got my ravenstag eyeshadow today (along with gaslight tears) and it is gorgeous. I cannot wait to give it a test drive.

And because I am a deeply shallow person, thank for the .gifs of Hannibal and Will (un)dressing. After watching them too long, I actually felt the need to fan myself.

Oh and thanks to you and the AMOT guys, over the weekend I re-watched Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, and listened to all the movie podcasts (except Hannibal Rising because even I have my limits), and I have just about finished listening to the season 1 podcasts. Now I want to go back and read the books. I NEED HELP AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT AND THIS DAMN SHOW.

I find it interesting that they hit us with the attractive mens getting dressed in this episode and then the hoopla about the pool scene for the episode after The One That Just Happened. Like they're trying to make it up to the viewership or something.

Wheeeee, eyeshadow! I'm waiting on some other samples to get here so I have something to try blending Ravenstag with, since I usually wear much warmer, lighter colors. But Tattler should get here soon as well, and I'll be able to swatch that too. Apparently a full collection would be about 20 colors, doubling up a few weeks to be finished by the time the season's over, so we are going to be awash in pretty colors by the end of this.

Do we know how long the Hannibal collection will be around? I can already tell I'm gonna want alllll of them, but making a separate Aromaleigh order every week would be terrible for my wallet, so I'd like to do it all at once at the end, but I don't want to miss any.

I've been Ravenstagging my eyes without blending with other eyeshadows but using a teal glitter liquid eyeliner and purple mascara and it has come out really well for me, but I have always tended towards darker eyeshadows and I am a novice with eyeshadow-layering.

The newest Freddie-shade is dangerously pretty and in a color I definitely don't have on tap already. My willpower is weakening.

Jack decided it was time to play out Miriam's doom all over again with Beverly

And he would STILL (rights pending, lol) send Clarice in to do the same thing. JACK.

"How far would you go to help me?" asks Will, because he's thinking exactly what we're aaaall thinking.

I love how many layers these conversations between Will and Hannibal have. There’s the conversation they’re having, the conversation they’re not having, and the conversation they might be having (depending on what each thinks about the other). Also, when I first saw the ear, I was sure that it was like ABIGAIL’S OTHER EAR, just like Miriam Lass’ arm, kept by Hannibal for future horrible use.

So when he explicitly says, It did not occur to me to kill someone to help you get a good verdict, I think we should actually believe him. Not the least because he sounds a little sorry that he didn't think of it first.I also think that Hannibal might not have thought of killing someone to get Will a good verdict because that would be pointing all those allegations back to himself ( ... )

When I thought Hannibal did the bailiff murder, this totally came off as WHY WON’T YOU LOVE ME. And it kind of still does.

Yeah, I got a vibe of Hannibal finally realizing/getting frustrated with the realization that Will doesn't understand that people kill for you because they like you. If he can nudge Will towards grasping that concept, then maybe they can finally start to move forward.

I mean, sure, Hannibal didn't kill this person, but Will never appreciated all those other ~helpful murders Hannibal committed on his behalf.

Exactly. It's like Will was going, "Why would someone send me an ear?" and Hannibal was all, "Because they like you, dumbass. Just like when I killed all those poe--oh. Did you... did you not get that those were love-murders? This explains so much. Okay, starting from the beginning again."

Oh, lord. I caught Jack's look at Zeller, but somehow missed that Zeller was attempting a fistbump. Zeller, I swear to God.

Watch Scott Thompson in the background as well, for maximum hilarity.

I move that we press for Socially Awkward Zeller to become a meme.

"I think I opened your mail," says Brauer.

dude just opened a courier package ADDRESSED TO HIM and containing a REAL LIVE SEVERED HUMAN EAR and he's like "welp." I think he was on a bomb squad before he was a lawyer.

"I shoot Mr. Sykes once, collapsing lungs, tearing through his heart's aorta and pulmonary arteries,"which just goes to show that Will's Sekrit Admirer is also a Murder Wizard, because I'm pretty sure you can't do that much damage with a single shot unless you're using a shotgun, in which case there'd be a lot less left to mount on the stag's head ( ... )

I think he was on a bomb squad before he was a lawyer.

What it made me wonder is what the hell his other clients are like, that this doesn't even faze him.

He probably represents the mafia, and is used to it.

Wait that doesn't make sense. No, he probably represents the guys who are squealing on the mafia, and is used to it.

I'm guessing Jack Crawford wouldn't allow the FBI to assign Will a squeamish n00b of a lawyer who was used to defending white-collar criminals or something.

It says something that not even Will and Hannibal, Empath and Murder Wizard, were sure about the killer.

I now have this imagined conversation in my head where Will says, "Hannibal, did you murder that bailiff? Tell me truth, now," and Hannibal's all, "I'm...pretty sure I didn't kill him? Like, 90% certain I did not kill this dude."

Btw, that was supposed to be "tell me the truth," and not actually super old-timey and quaint.
