It says something that not even Will and Hannibal, Empath and Murder Wizard, were sure about the killer.

I now have this imagined conversation in my head where Will says, "Hannibal, did you murder that bailiff? Tell me truth, now," and Hannibal's all, "I'm...pretty sure I didn't kill him? Like, 90% certain I did not kill this dude."

Btw, that was supposed to be "tell me the truth," and not actually super old-timey and quaint.

"Well, who did you kill?"
"I'd have to check my recipes."

It makes the show challenging and rewarding to watch on a level that not many other shows even attempt, and he's knocking out of the damn park EVERY WEEK. It's one of the most gruesome things I've ever seen, and makes me doubt my own morals on a regular basis, and it is pure joy to watch and discuss with other fans each week.

It really is. I think this is the first episode that's gotten a little too confusing--and it was confusing to the book people, too--but mostly, it seems like people don't feel left out if they're not familiar with the original series. Which is really an accomplishment, to have it both ways like that.

I saw all kinds of theories--Jack, Alana, Abigail. Jack's way too uncertain about what's going on with Will to even want to do something like this, even if he EVER would for ANYONE, and Alana--come on now.
