oh, this was so charming and--politely hilarious. the narrative voice is immediately compelling, and the characters are very personable. i love that no one is really all that evil, just maybe bored and lonely, and no one is really all that good, either. ♥!

This is so wonderfully, richly detailed and amazing. I want to re-read it over and over, and feel as if I'll never stop discovering new and delightful things in it. The humour, and the heartwarming cameraderie between all the characters; Pete and Patrick as pert little kids and the strange co-dependence William and Victoria and Gabe have; and oh god, your Gerard ♥

GAH I love this so much. *hearteyes* Just -- the language and the vampires and how William and Victoria and Gabe are all so obsessed with each other and that Ryan is still RYAN, only in Victorian language, and -- Just. YES, THIS. *hands*

I really enjoyed reading this so much. I appreciated how you stuck with the Victorian style; you were natural about it, and consistent. It takes so much skill to grasp an era like that, to make the characters believably part of that time without it being stilted or forced, and you totally did it.

This is definitely a story where the reader has to pay attention or they might miss the humor and turns of phrase and subtle character interaction. I like what elfiepike said: no one is good or evil, just bored and lonely. A vampiric ennui!

You have a very technical way of writing, very detailed. I like it! And I loved this! So well written and yet lighthearted and humorous too. And well distrubuted words; just enough of everyones characters. Seriously, you write so well!
