I have never cried so hard during a movie; Michael Peña is fantastic.

I just got back from seeing United 93, and it was intense. But what really got to me about halfway through the movie was that in the midst of all this terrorism there's one major thing the movie is missing! I was reflecting on The Master and Margarita this evening and researched the film on Wikipedia. An amazing book, though I've not analysed its literary merits, I've praised its spirituality.

Brothers (IMDB) is a gripping Danish film about the disruption of a family's life when the father is sent to war in Afghanistan.

Watched it tonight for a cool $3.50, but it would have been worth $20. Easily one of my top five. Moreover, I dream of making films this powerful.
