But why? There's a lot of secuirty updates that occured up to 1.0.7, and 1.5 has a lot of new features and performance without being all that different.

Because my computer crashes so frequently. If it's running well I don't want to mess with it. I get the newest version of all the free programs I use (gaim, firefox, gimp) each time I am forced to reformat.
