Delays to Exit 18.

That's perfect considering that's the exit I need to get to.

I'm just creeping onto the Southern State at Exit 30 and I have about 45 minutes to get to my race. Judging by the gridlock I'm stuck in at the moment, I don't think I'm making this Summer Series 4k. I contemplate calling Dadquest because dad knows everything about ( Read more... )

Am I late to comment? Aww too bad.

This is probably one of three websites that my brand-spanking new firewall hasn't blocked. I think I'm gonna like it here.

The other two? Facebook and Swoopo. Go figure.

It's never too late to comment! :-)

And I have to ask...what is Swoopo?

Swoopo is pure concentrated German evil. It's a uBid style site where you bid on underpriced items and every bid puts time back on the clock for the end of the auction. The twist is that you have to pay for every bid you make and every bid increments the "winning" price by 1 cent. So sure, you might win an iPod for 30 bucks, but you paid 300 in "bidding fees". Brilliant in its elegance and exploitation of game theory.

I would have totally just hit the nearest McD's on the way home from not running. I hate running. Reading this blog made me tired from exercise that I won't even do. -Your loving sister.
