Back at School + Fic Awards

Yup, here I am again. Back at school for my last semester. It's a relief that school will be over, but fairly nerve-wracking that real life will have to take its place. I've decided I'm only going to take two classes in addition to my thesis seminar, which will free up a lot of my time to work two full days a week, do fieldwork, and look for jobs.

almost went off deep end. now water=more shallow. new meds, back to antipsychotics, but a new one with hopefully less sedation.

I called about an hour ago to see how you were. I had been fretting over you a bit last night, wondering if you were okay. I'm glad things feel a little more solid and that you're trying something new to keep the sane in place.

I love what you added to our Faith thingie, but I'm sort of stuck in the water about what you had in mind for the rest. So I'm just gonna make up some shit and see if it sticks, like F on D POV. Probably just a little teeny bit though, since I have some reading that needs doing.

I'm sort of stuck in the water about what you had in mind for the rest.

i really don't have much in mind at all. i'm interested in how faith and dawn might interact near the end of season seven, and the jump dynamic--faith's cliff, buffy's tower, and all the potentials on the edge of the hell mouth, and then there's dawn. the girl who didn't jump. and how maybe a part of faith wants in on that, wants to know what it's like. *shrug* beyond that, i got nothing. just handfuls of lines to jam in.

i thought of a name for this though. not the actual story, but this style of writing. it's a crossword puzzle fic. you ever do that with anyone? fill in as much as you can and then hand it off, and then maybe they get a few words and it's enough where, when you get it back, you see something you couldn't before because you have that little bit extra to work with?

Congrats on the awards. I hope you'll write more Spuffy one day but you do write an absolutely wonderful Faith.

Thanks. I have been writing Spuffy behind the scenes, but just not posting any. It's a slow and uninspired process. I do like the little ficlet I dashed off today though. I'm of the impression that a lot of the people on my flist friended me cause of my Spuffy stuff, so it feels like a bit of a let down not, you know, writing any. Maybe what I post later tonight will appease them.

Aw, thank you. That means so much coming from you. Pass and I are working on this experimental Faith fic together. We're not really sure where it's going or what will come of it, but it's been a really good experience so far.
