I lead a boring life. As if you haven't already figured that out. I've been spending my weekends (or at least part of each weekend) at Katie's in Columbus with Joe, Katie and John. Personally, I'd let the natural color come back. You know what that looks like - it's safe. LOL Besides, it'll take that long for the red to be gone as it is! I know this from obvious personal experience.

As far as talking to Joanna - do it now that way she can't be like, "Well you didn't tell me when you first knew" or any other random bull.

It's Tuesday night as I write this...what are you up to? There's a karaoke contest I was thinking about going to - I don't want to be out too late and having someone there with me will help me to avoid that. Up for it? LOL

in all my highlights and such the red always faded faster than anything else. It's been about a month since my last retouch and there are times when it looks like it's back to my natural but with a slight red tint. The whole reason I'd rather dye it to a more lavender friendly color is that I don't like that funky "my roots are coming in" look where your roots are down to your ears and you can still kinda see the dye.
I think (thanks to your advice) I'll leave a note for Joanna or maybe call her tomorrow, err thursday (since she's not in tomorrow). I have to admit I'm kinda afraid of her saying "well she's gonna be home for at least a month..." Cross your fingers she takes it well. I really want to be there when they land.

hey, well if you are in cbus a lot on the weekends, maybe you, working_dreamer and i can get together for a lunch or something... i know you are probably buwsy, but just an idea...

i dont know much about changing hair colors, so much luck in that....

id say that if necessary, use a sick day in the work situation.. i mean, how often are you going to have this opportunity to do what you are trying to do?

I told Joanna about the situation with Tiff. She was really nice about it. I told her I'd like to help out but since I don't know when Tiff and Matthew's plane is coming in I couldn't say for certain. She just said that when I know to let her know and maybe she can use me during the daytime or we can work around it some other way. So Yay!!
